About the work:
‘Dusk’ is one of a series of works concentrating on buildings and structures placed within the landscape. In this work we have a group of silhouetted houses sitting within the composition. Except for a few lights in the homes there is a sense of a community, isolated and separate from the world around them. The looming overcast sky seemingly creating a blanket of suppression and potential foreboding, this could be a street locked down, cut off from the world around them, with their only connection to it via the telephone pole linking to their homes.
